JANITOR

Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility.  The cleaning involves dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.  The Janitor is expected to perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.

Duties:

1. Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas daily (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.).
2. Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
3. Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
4. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
5. Make adjustments and minor repairs.
6. Stock and maintain supply rooms.
7. Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
8. Follow all health and safety regulations.
9. The above is to be done consistently during the day with no idle time due to the nature of the products sold and building.  Lunch time is one hour.
10. Follow closely the “Daily Custodian Office Cleaning Schedule”.
11. Any other duties as assigned.
